InPhenix offers 1310nm and 1550nm SOA devices optimized for the following applications: Optical Amplification (Gain), Switching and Wavelength Conversion.

  • The Gain-type amplifiers are ideal for Booster and In-line applications and have high gain and high saturation output power.
  • The Switch-type SOA devices are designed for either switching or optical gating and are capable of high speed (<500ps) switching times.
  • The Wavelength Conversion-type SOA devices are ideal for wavelength conversion and their key attribute is fast optical-to-optical conversion speed.
