Inphenix Introduces 855nm Superluminescent Diodes (SLDs).
Inphenix, a leading provider of advanced optoelectronic components and subsystems for the telecommunications, medical, industrial and aerospace and defense industries, is pleased to announce the new 855nm SLD, a wideband, high power SLD for medical and industrial applications with bandwidth > 50nm and power > 8mW.
The new 855nm SLD expands Inphenix’s family of 750-1600nm SLDs and extend the performance of Inphenix’s GaAs optical engines for OCT applications. The 855nm SLD employs a proprietary multi-quantum well design offering maximum power, broad bandwidth with long lifetimes and stable operation.
The 855nm SLD is shipping in volume and available in small and large quantities.
